Even though the 2008 show season is over , there isn't a rule saying you can't go back and remember it. Let's see.... I had my first show ever! I was in walk/trot. I placed in two of my classes. I was pretty happy. Then I went to my second show in July. This time it was walk/trot/canter. I placed in all of my classes despite nearly being t-boned by a friend whose horse thought we were playing sharks and minnows. Toby and I got the 4th,5th, and 6th place ribbons that day. Then my last show of 2008 was in August. Sadly Toby became lame the day before so I had to ride Clark. He was already going to be shown in w/t/c so i had to go in w/t. Not a good day for me. I nearly fell off two different times.Despite that I placed in one of my classes Also when my instructor helped me put on my helmet she put the sharp, plastic peice on my forehead and it cut me! It hurt. Oh well.. some days are like heaven others are like hell.
